Important: By downloading, installing, or using the Un-Awkward mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. App Overview

Un-Awkward is a mobile application designed to help users improve their social skills and build confidence in social situations. The app offers both free and premium subscription features including daily tips, practice challenges, scenario guides, journal prompts, roleplay scripts, body language lessons, and emergency confidence boosts.

2. Subscription Services

2.1 Available Subscriptions

Un-Awkward Premium offers the following auto-renewable subscription options:

Weekly Subscription: $0.99 per week
Yearly Subscription: $19.99 per year (Most Popular - Save 62%!)

Note: Prices may vary by location and are subject to change. Current pricing is displayed in the app at the time of purchase.

2.2 Subscription Features

25 practice challenges with daily and weekly options

2.3 Auto-Renewal Terms

Important Subscription Information:

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
Weekly subscriptions renew every 7 days
Yearly subscriptions renew every 365 days
You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your device's Account Settings after purchase

3. Payment and Billing

3.1 Payment Processing

All subscription payments are processed through your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Payment will be charged to your app store account upon confirmation of purchase.

3.2 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices at any time. Price changes will not affect existing subscriptions until renewal, and you will be notified of any price changes in advance.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 How to Cancel

For iOS users:

Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
Tap your name at the top
Tap "Subscriptions"
Find Un-Awkward and tap it
Tap "Cancel Subscription"

For Android users:

Open the Google Play Store app
Tap Menu → Subscriptions
Find Un-Awkward and tap it
Tap "Cancel Subscription"

4.2 Cancellation Terms

You can cancel your subscription at any time
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of the paid period
No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
You must cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period

5. Refund Policy

All sales are final. Refund requests must be made directly through your device's app store:

iOS: Submit refund requests through Apple's Report a Problem website
Android: Request refunds through Google Play Store customer service

Un-Awkward does not control app store refund policies and cannot guarantee refund approval.

6. Free Trial (If Applicable)

If a free trial is offered, you will be charged the full subscription price when the trial period ends unless you cancel before the trial expires. Free trials are limited to one per user.

7. User Responsibilities

Provide accurate account and payment information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Use the app in accordance with these terms
Not share your premium account access with others
Not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
Use social skills content responsibly and ethically
Practice social skills in appropriate and legal contexts
Respect others' boundaries and consent in all social interactions
Not use app content to manipulate or harm others
Apply social skills advice with consideration for cultural and personal differences

8. Content and Educational Disclaimer

Important Notice: Un-Awkward provides educational content designed to help improve social skills and confidence. The app content is for informational and educational purposes only and should not be considered professional therapy, medical advice, or psychological treatment. Users are responsible for applying social skills advice appropriately and ethically.

9. Social Skills Content Responsibility

Content is designed to promote healthy, respectful social interactions
Users must apply advice with respect for others' boundaries and consent
App content should complement, not replace, professional therapy or counseling when needed
Users are responsible for adapting advice to their specific cultural and social contexts
Journal entries and personal progress data are stored locally on user devices

10. Data and Privacy

Un-Awkward operates with an offline-first approach:

All personal data including journal entries, progress tracking, and preferences are stored locally on your device
No personal content is transmitted to our servers without explicit user action
Users can export their data as JSON files for backup purposes
App usage analytics may be collected to improve the user experience

11. Intellectual Property

Users retain full ownership of their personal journal entries and progress data. Un-Awkward retains rights to the educational content, tips, scenarios, and challenges provided within the app. Users may not redistribute or commercialize app content without permission.

12. Mental Health and Wellness

Professional Support: While Un-Awkward can help build social confidence, it is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment. If you are experiencing social anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns, please consult with a qualified mental health professional.

13. Prohibited Uses

The following uses of Un-Awkward are prohibited:

Using content to manipulate, deceive, or harm others
Applying social skills advice in ways that violate others' consent or boundaries
Using the app for any illegal or unethical purposes
Sharing or redistributing proprietary app content
Attempting to circumvent subscription requirements

14. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to Un-Awkward at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these terms or any other reason.

15. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be effective when posted in the app or on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

16. Limitation of Liability

Un-Awkward and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the app, including but not limited to outcomes from applying social skills advice in real-world situations.

17. Educational Content Disclaimer

All social skills content is based on general principles and best practices. Individual results may vary, and users should adapt advice to their specific circumstances, cultural context, and personal comfort levels.

18. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts.
